Kurt from Hawkeye Home Inspections came out and inspected our first home. He could not have been any better. An absolute joy to work with, informative and thorough, he explained everything he was doing and was willing to answer any and all questions we had for him. We did the home inspection during terrible weather and he was not only punctual but beat us to the location by 15 minutes or so. Dealing with the office staff was a breeze as well and scheduling was a piece of cake. Kurt was wonderful to work with. He is knowledgeable and precise - he was very thorough in the home inspection. He walked through it with us, showing us areas that might need improvement/fixing soon vs. ones that can wait a while. We had a home inspection on a house that we are buying done by Kurt Fleming. I cannot say enough good things about this experience. He is professional and made this experience a pleasant one. I'm sure it didn't hurt that there wasn't anything glaringly wrong with the house, but what small things we did find, he was knowledgeable about and offered some ideas on resolution. I have been present for other home inspections in the past and the home inspectors made it seem like every little thing was a big deal, catastrophic - but not Kurt. He was concise, practical and again, above all, had a great sense of humor, and was so pleasant. If this is the caliber of inspectors that Hawkeye employs and offers, then, rest assured that you are in great hands. Thanks again for the service. I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone.

I just want to thank Kurt Fleming for going above and beyond what was required.  Since there was a delay in starting the inspection, Kurt was able to accommodate the situation and do a complete and exceptional job. He did not rush the inspection to stay on time but actually put in extra time, working methodically each room as he usually does.  It was amazing to watch him work - investigating every little area.  My husband and I learned so much from him.  We definitely will recommend him to our family, friends, and co-workers and use him in the future.
